Attar is a historical halal perfume and is the first form of fragrance that came into being thousands of years ago.  Attar is a perfume which does not need alcohol to be manufactured.  A singledrop of attar is enough to last several days. Under the Moghul Emperor Akbar the use of attar spread throughout hisempire because he enjoyed the refinement of attar.
